Shape Up with Claudia is a safe space that is all about acceptance. Our bodies will likely not be moving as well as they did in our 20s. Accepting our body's limitations and the changes we go through as we age can be incredibly empowering. If you cannot touch your toes, don't worry, my Pilates method is still for you.
My classes are designed for everyBODY and combine a blend of strengthening, mobility, balance training, cardio and relaxation. In my signature classes, you will work out your entire body and discover that you don’t need to spend hours at the gym to get results. You will tone, strengthen, have fun and sweat - or restore and relax, depending on which class you choose.
You will experience what mindful movement is all about, by learning to connect your body and mind so you can feel confident you are targeting the correct muscles with each movement. See you on the mat x
Unlike so many Pilates Instructors who come from a dancing background, I got into Pilates to help me 'correct' what was wrong with my body. For years, I suffered from chronic neck and back pain due to severe injuries from a car accident. Practicing regular Pilates not only helped me get stronger, improve my posture and get rid of my pain, but also helped me to be completely in touch with my mental, emotional and physical sides, and that is what I want to help you achieve.
The core foundation of my practice is to focus on correct technique and body awareness. My passion for movement is clearly reflected in my classes and my goal is to inspire, motivate and empower you to feel the best version of yourself. The mind body connection I teach through my technique will help you feel confident with your movement ability so you can progress your fitness and feel great about it! The sky is the limit!
